Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our growing childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children (Babies). This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development in a nurturing and child led professional environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children, supporting their growth and learning through our continuous provision and personalised care.
Responsibilities
- Supervising children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
- Supporting children's emotional needs through attentive care and communication
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment within the nursery setting
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Assisting with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Leading by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the team
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and nursery policies
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education qualifications is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in nursery settings
- Good knowledge of continuous provision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative independently.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
