We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plasterboarding, In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall and plasterboard surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings, ensuring high-quality standards are met at every stage. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard sheets accurately according to project specifications
- Secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and fastening
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean work area and disposing of debris regularly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plasterboarding or drywall installation within construction settings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, knives, screw guns, and measuring tapes
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently for cutting and fastening drywall materials
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to drywall installation
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision finishing
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights if necessary
