Neighbourhood and Estates Manager
Help us shape the future of Cornwall's neighbourhoods and communities
At Cornwall Housing, we believe a good home is only part of the picture. Our residents have told us they want more than a decent property. They want neighbourhoods that are safe, clean, attractive and well cared for. They want communities where people feel connected, respected and proud of where they live. They want a landlord that is visible, responsive and committed to improving the places around their homes, not just the homes themselves. Our values of Collaboration, Honesty and Learning are central to this, helping us stay focused on doing the right things in the right way.
That is why we have launched our ambitious Neighbourhood Strategy 2026-2030. The strategy represents a significant shift in how we work. We are investing in our homes, but we are also investing in our neighbourhoods. We want cleaner estates, stronger communities, better environmental standards, greater resident influence and visible improvements that residents can see and feel.
To help us achieve this ambition, we are creating two exciting new leadership opportunities within our Housing Operations team. These roles will play a central part in delivering one of the most important strategic priorities for Cornwall Housing over the next five years.
If you are passionate about creating better places, improving communities and making a lasting difference for residents, we would love to hear from you.
Help us create places people are proud to call home

You will also lead Cornwall Housing's neighbourhood social value programme, helping to maximise the wider benefits generated through our suppliers and partnerships including employment opportunities, volunteering, community projects and local investment.
In this role, you will:

· Manage and develop Cornwall Housing's Estate Ranger service.
· Deliver neighbourhood investment and estate improvement programmes.
· Lead neighbourhood action planning and community improvement initiatives.
· Drive resident influence in neighbourhood priorities and spending decisions.
· Manage contractor performance, service standards and value for money.
· Build strong partnerships with councillors, community organisations and local stakeholders.
· Lead a budget portfolio exceeding £3 million while delivering measurable community outcomes.
Cornwall Housing is evolving to better meet the needs of the people and communities we serve. Our values of Collaboration, Honesty and Learning are central to this, helping us stay focused on doing the right things in the right way.
If you want to make a real impact, work positively with others and help shape better outcomes for local people, this could be the perfect next step. Join us to create safe homes in strong communities for one and all!
About you
You will be an experienced leader with a track record of delivering operational services, neighbourhood improvements, environmental services, housing, property, public realm or community-focused programmes.
