We are looking for a Kitchen Porter
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 8am - 4.30pm (Term time - only)
Duties to include:
To perform a variety of manual task associated with food production and service in the catering establishment
To carry meat, vegetables and other foodstuffs from delivery vehicle to storerooms
To take daily issue of stores to kitchen
To assist other member of staff to lift heavy loads
To scrub and washes kitchen floors and walls
To clean out the waste bins
To clean hotplates, kitchen equipment and canopies
To scrape foodstuff from dirty pots and pans
To operate the sterilising equipment
To clean, wash and dry dishes, cutlery and glassware by hand or machine
To prepare vegetables for cooking
Assist with the preparation and service at special School functions.
£14.80 per hour
