Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Void Property Multi-Trader to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks across vacant properties. Your expertise will help ensure these properties are maintained to high standards, ready for re-letting or sale. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse skill set in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, welding, and fabrication to make a tangible impact on property quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance across void properties, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, welding, and painting.
- Perform general construction tasks using hand tools and power tools to ensure properties meet safety and quality standards.
- Fabricate and modify materials or components as needed for property repairs or improvements.
- Inspect properties thoroughly to identify repair needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Coordinate with team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and inspections performed for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, building codes, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-trade roles within property maintenance or construction environments.
- Strong skills in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, welding, and fabrication.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various repair tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for repairs or modifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades such as carpentry, electrical work or plumbing are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £180.00-£225.00 per day
