Class 2 HGV Driver
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £33,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday
We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing transport team based out of Huyton, Liverpool.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of palletised freight across the North West (primarily covering Liverpool & The Wirral) and providing a professional service to our customers.
The Role
- Class 2 HGV pallet deliveries and collections
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Loading and securing goods safely
- Using handheld scanners
- Providing excellent customer service
- Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
About You
- Full UK Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Pallet network experience would be an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit, as some manual handling is involved
