Part of the wider Wookey Hole family, Bucklegrove offers guests a peaceful park setting by day – and we’re now looking to bring that to life in the evenings with fun, engaging entertainment for all ages.
Role overview
We are currently recruiting for an Holiday Park Entertainer to join us for a 7-week summer role.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves to entertain, enjoys being at the centre of the action, and can create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for both families and adults.
From quizzes and bingo to music, games and the occasional dance-off, you’ll be the person making our evenings memorable!
Key duties
- To plan and deliver a varied programme of evening entertainment for holiday park guests
- To host quizzes, bingo, games, music and competitions
- To engage guests of all ages and encourage participation
- To create a fun, relaxed, and inclusive atmosphere
- To introduce new ideas and keep activities fresh and exciting
- To set up and pack down equipment and activity spaces
- To provide excellent customer service and enhance the overall guest experience
Hours of work:
- 4 evenings per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- 5:00pm – 10:00pm
- Fixed-term role for 7 weeks
Requirements
- Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to groups
- A fun, enthusiastic personality with a great sense of humour
- Ability to engage both adults and children
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality, or holiday parks
- Experience hosting events or activities
- Experience working with families or children
