Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and is confident working independently across a range of residential and commercial properties.
We welcome applications from experienced property maintenance professionals, handymen, multi-trade operatives, construction workers, facilities maintenance technicians, or individuals with strong all-round practical skills.

- Self-employed subcontractors

The Role
You will carry out a wide variety of maintenance, repair and improvement work, ensuring every job is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
Typical duties include:
- Painting and decorating
- Carpentry repairs and installations
- Wall and floor tiling
- Flooring repairs and installation
- Plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Plastering and patch repairs
- General property repairs
- Minor electrical work (where competent and legally permitted)
- Bathroom installations and refurbishments
- Kitchen installations
- Fencing, gates and external repairs
- General handyman and maintenance tasks
No two days are the same, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, practical and enjoys solving problems.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a multi-trade role
- Good all-round practical skills across several trades
- The ability to diagnose and repair a variety of household issues
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in their work
- A positive, flexible and reliable attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage their workload
- A full UK driving licence
Additional Requirements for Self-Employed Subcontractors
- Own van or suitable vehicle
- Own tools and equipment
- Appropriate public liability insurance
- Ability to invoice for completed work
PayPAYE
Pay will be discussed during the interview and will reflect experience, skills and qualifications.
Self-Employed Subcontractors
Rates will be agreed based on experience, qualifications, the nature of the work and responsibilities involved.
Payment will be made against a valid invoice in accordance with agreed payment terms and may be subject to CIS deductions where applicable.
Important Information
Self-employed subcontractors provide services under a subcontractor agreement and are responsible for supplying their own vehicle, tools and insurance.
Subcontractors are not provided with company benefits such as paid holiday, sick pay, pension contributions or a company vehicle.

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
