The job is basically being a preparation technician, so bringing a vehicle into the workshop, and making sure it’s perfect before being sold. If you are a fully qualified vehicle mechanic then this is a piece of cake, it’s general service work or pads, discs, servicing, and repairing/replacing scratched interior trims etc. basically whatever the vehicle needs to look ‘as-new’ before selling.
once you are trained on how to prep a sales Vehicle to a high standard, then you will have your own prep bay, and expected to have vehicles all prepared and ready to go to.
Ideally know how to use a machine polisher, but this isn’t essential I can teach you. You will be doing touch ins, flattening and polishing etc
Must have a driving licence (no more than 6 points)
Must be a fully qualified mechanic
2 month probation period on £550 a week (GROSS)
£600 a week after the probation period (GROSS)
Hours are Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5pm
No weekends, no long hours, no hard work, no timing belts, no clutches, basically this is suited for somebody who appreciates getting paid for there loyalty and work ethic, and enjoys there weekends off.There is 3 members of staff in total so you must be good working together and getting mucked in.
You must be good with customers, and have a good attitude etc.
