7.5T / 18T Driver Wanted - Deliveries Across the UK! (Manual Handling Required)
Do you enjoy driving and seeing new places? Are you looking for a stable, Monday-Friday position with no bank holidays? Are you strong and fit, with the ability to handle heavy loads?
We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic 7.5T/18T driver to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering goods across the UK mainland, with occasional overnight stays required. This role will involve some physical activity, as you'll be required to unload deliveries that include roofing and cladding panels.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering a variety of goods to customers across the UK, including roofing and cladding panels
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries
- Assisting with the unloading of deliveries (lifting heavy items)
- Conducting digital pre-trip vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers
What we're looking for:
- A valid 7.5T/18T driving licence (C1) and valid drivers CPC.
- Excellent driving record
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- A good level of navigation skills (GPS experience a plus)
- Must be physically strong and fit, able to lift and manoeuvre heavy roofing and cladding panels
- A Class 2 licence (C+E) is a bonus as the role may evolve to 18t driver
