About the Role:
Belfast has built a strong reputation for engineering, technology, and professional services, and at Isojepang Quality and Technology Solutions Ltd, we bring those strengths together to help organisations improve how they operate.
We support businesses across manufacturing, engineering, technology, and regulated services by designing practical quality management systems that improve consistency, reduce risk, and support long-term growth.
We are looking for a Principal Quality Systems Consultant who can lead complex quality improvement programmes and provide trusted guidance to clients and internal teams. You will assess existing processes, identify areas of risk, and develop clear, workable systems that help organisations meet operational, customer, and regulatory expectations.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical specialists, and delivery teams, translating complex requirements into practical quality frameworks that can be understood and applied across the organisation.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Belfast office is located at The Linenhall, 32 to 38 Linenhall Street, Belfast BT2 8BG, within easy reach of the city centre and major transport connections. We offer a professional and collaborative workplace where experienced consultants can focus on meaningful client work.
Quality Focus:
Quality is central to our business, not an administrative afterthought. You will have the authority to influence project direction, challenge ineffective processes, and recommend improvements that create measurable results.
Varied Projects:
You will work with clients across manufacturing, engineering, technology, and business services. Each engagement brings different operational challenges, giving you the opportunity to apply your expertise across a broad range of environments.
Professional Growth:
You will receive support for relevant professional memberships, technical training, industry events, and continuing professional development. We encourage consultants to expand their knowledge and contribute to the development of our internal methods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Leadership:
Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of quality management systems across client organisations. Ensure that systems are practical, proportionate, and aligned with business objectives.
Process Assessment:
Review existing policies, procedures, controls, and operational workflows. Identify gaps, duplication, inefficiencies, and areas of compliance or delivery risk.
Client Advisory:
Provide clear and commercially practical advice to senior managers, operational teams, and technical stakeholders. Explain complex quality requirements in language that is easy to understand and apply.
Audit and Assurance:
Plan and conduct internal audits, readiness assessments, process reviews, and corrective action follow-ups. Produce clear reports with prioritised findings and achievable recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:
Use root cause analysis, performance data, risk assessments, and process mapping to identify opportunities for measurable improvement.
Project Delivery:
Manage multiple quality improvement projects from initial assessment through implementation, training, monitoring, and final handover.
Team Support:
Mentor consultants and quality specialists, review project documentation, and provide constructive feedback that improves the consistency and quality of the team’s work.
Stakeholder Management:
Build productive relationships with clients, suppliers, technical teams, and internal management. Present findings confidently and maintain credibility throughout complex or sensitive assignments.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, operational improvement, compliance, or management systems consulting. Previous experience leading complex quality projects is required.
Quality Systems Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of quality management principles, internal auditing, corrective and preventive action, risk management, document control, and continuous improvement.
Industry Exposure:
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology, professional services, or another regulated or process-driven environment would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
A degree or recognised professional qualification in quality management, engineering, operations, business improvement, or a related field is preferred.
Professional certifications in quality auditing, Lean, Six Sigma, or management systems would be beneficial.
Communication Skills:
You can communicate confidently with technical specialists, operational employees, and senior decision-makers. You are comfortable presenting findings, challenging established processes, and explaining the commercial value of quality improvements.
Analytical Ability:
You can review complex information, identify underlying problems, and convert your findings into practical actions with clear owners and deadlines.
Mindset:
You are thorough without becoming overly bureaucratic. You understand that an effective quality system must support the organisation rather than create unnecessary paperwork.
Pay: £4,500.00-£6,886.00 per month
Work Location: In person
