We’re opening a brand-new 3-bed children’s home in Southend and are looking for an exceptional Deputy ready to step up and lead the home from registration to opening.

The role
- Lead the Ofsted registration and opening of the home
- Build and manage your own staff team
- Deliver high-quality, therapeutic, child-focused care
- Act as DSL and ensure robust safeguarding practice
- Manage compliance, quality assurance and inspections
- Oversee placements, matching, care planning and outcomes
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual and local authorities
What you’ll need
- Ofsted Registered Children's Deputy Manager ready for the next step
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or actively working towards)
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Confident leadership and ambition to run an Outstanding home
- Passion for improving children’s lives

Experience:
- Management or Supervisory Experience with Children: 1 year (preferred)
- Children's Residential Home (or similar): 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 5 Diploma Leadership & Mgt for Res. Children's Svcs (required)
