OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operatives (part-time) for the following role;
Severn Valley Country Park - Alverley, Monday -Friday, 4pm-5pm & Highley Country Park, 2 hours a week flexible to suit the right candidate.
Duties
Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in designated areas
Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests courteously and professionally
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties in commercial settings, including offices, retail outlets, and public buildings
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, fixtures, and fittings according to company standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning activities
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks efficiently
