Job Purpose
To manage the adoption, operation, and maintenance of the UKPD electricity distribution and transmission network.
Key Responsibilities

Reviewing and approving ICP authorisations.Approval of switching schedules, Approval of live working requests.

Organising the 8-year maintenance programme and managing any associated remedial works.

Managing UKPD fault reporting (second point of contact during working hours) and handling out-of-hours escalations, organising DNO planned maintenance and isolations.

Carrying out post-commissioning inspections, managing the inspections performed by Matrix, and overseeing remedial actions.

Arranging remedial works for our primary substations.

A Control Engineer function for any switching Isolating we are giving control to the ICPs to do remedials.
Required Qualifications

Holds in date SAP authorisation (Fault and planned switching) up to and including 33kV.

Experience of delivery, operation and maintenance management electricity distribution networks up to 132kV
-
Knowledge of regulatory and HSE Framework.

Knowledge of the philosophy and principles relating to the design electricity distribution networks including protection and SCADA.

Knowledge of the selection and procurement of materials.

Excellent relationship management skills across the business and with customers, consumers and service providers.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of 66kV and 132kV networks.
