Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed
- Maintain a friendly attitude by greeting guests courteously when interacting in common areas or during service requests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service excellence
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and sanitation practices
