Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach for our Summer Camp to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and inspiring young athletes in tumbling techniques, fostering a safe and positive environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports coaching and teaching, with a focus on developing gymnastic skills during weekend sessions. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and confidence of our athletes while gaining valuable coaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tumbling coaching sessions to participants of various skill levels during weekends.
- Develop customised training programmes tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor participants’ progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and any concerns.
Experience
- Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching, ideally within gymnastics or tumbling disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of tumbling techniques and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire young athletes through effective coaching methods.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging sessions that cater to different skill levels.

Requirements
- Previous gymnastics, tumbling, or acro coaching experience
- Experience working with children aged 3–16 years
- Enhanced DBS check
- Strong knowledge of tumbling technique and safe progressions
- Excellent communication and ability to motivate young athletes
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £8.00-£13.00 per hour
