Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a lively restaurant and bar environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for this role.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures, are adhered to at all times
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Assist in setting up the bar area before service and cleaning after closing shifts
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour at all times, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Personable manner with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
