IMPORTANT NOTES RE THIS POSITION:
THIS ROLE WILL START AS A STANDARD MULTI-TRADE POSITION. OVER THE COURSE OF A 4 WEEK TRIAL - YOU WILL BE TESTED ON YOUR MULTI-TRADE SKILLS, COMMUNICATION AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL BEFORE POTENTIALLY BEING PUT INTO POST AS A SUPERVISOR. THE STARTING RATE WILL BE £180 PER DAY.
1) IF, AFTER 4 WEEKS WE WOULD LIKE TO OFFER YOU THE SUPERVISOR PROMOTION, WE WILL INCREASE YOUR RATE TO £200 PER DAY AND PROMOTE YOU TO SUPERVISOR.
2) IF, AFTER THE 4 WEEKS - YOU HAVE PERFORMED WELL - BUT WE DO NOT FEEL YOU ARE THE CORRECT CANDIDATE / SUITED TO BEING A SUPERVISOR - YOU WILL BE OFFERED TO CONTINUE AS A STANDARD MULTI-TRADER AT THE STARTING RATE (£180 PER DAY). YOU MAY DECIDE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE ON THIS BASIS OR NOT.
NOTE: IF, AT ANY TIME DURING THE 4 WEEKS WE DO NOT FEEL THAT YOU ARE SUITED TO WORKING WITH US AT ALL - WE MAY END THE TRIAL IMMEDIATELY.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED & SKILLED SUPERVISOR / MULTI TRADER / SURVEYOR who is very experienced and confident to supervise others as well as work in a team or alone. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS VITAL
We need someone to start Immediately (Very Urgent) who is reliable and actively looking for work. We value quality work and need applicants to take pride in what they do and to ensure that any finished work is left tidy and clean and with excellent presentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- SKILLS & EXPERIENCE IN MULTIPLE TRADES (High Skill)
- Experience of Supervising/Managing Teams
- Experience of SNAGGING / Checks / Considerable Attention to Detail
DESIRED/NOT ESSENTIAL:
- Experience working for a Council/Housing Association

MULTI-TRADER JOB ROLE (First 4 Weeks):
- Attend Sites & Complete Jobs/Tasks as Directed by the Office
- Survey Properties & Provide Reports/Analysis/Details to the Office
- Liaise with Office (Reporting/Questions/Access issues etc)
- Adhere to Safety Procedures & Wear PPE at all times (where necessary)
SUPERVISOR JOB ROLE:
- Inspect/Survey & Arrange Orders of Materials for Projects
- Spot Check & Inspect Active Job Sites/Projects
- Supervise Staff & Manage Output & Maintain Company Standards
- Snagging / Sign off & Finishing Projects/Jobs
- Aid with Complicated Project Completion/Specialist Works
- Managing Engineers - Including Monitoring PPE/Quality/Workload/H&S etc
- Liaise with Office (Inc Advice/Ordering Materials/Reports on Findings)

Payments are Subject to CIS Deductions (30% - Not registered, 20% Registered or 0% - Gross Payment Status)
The work would be on a Self Employed Basis - CIS - Initially there is no Guarantee of Full Time Work and you will not be Employed by Abbins Maintenance Limited
