Job Summary
The Interim Complaint Handler for the Harrow Health Adult ADHD Service is responsible for managing and resolving patient complaints with empathy, professionalism, and fairness. Acting as the main point of contact for concerns, the postholder will handle complaints both verbally and in writing in accordance with NHS and Harrow Health complaints policies.
The role involves conducting thorough investigations into issues raised by patients, families, and carers, working closely with clinicians, operational staff, and senior managers within the Adult ADHD Service. The Complaint Handler will gather information, analyse evidence, prepare clear and accurate responses, and ensure that all complaints are managed within required timeframes.
A key part of the role is identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for service improvement, ensuring that learning from complaints is shared and embedded across the Adult ADHD pathway. The postholder will support governance and quality processes by maintaining accurate records, producing reports, and contributing to wider patient experience initiatives. Sensitivity, strong communication skills, and a robust understanding of neurodiverse patient needs are essential.
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
