Summary
We are seeking a skilled Subcontract Decorator to join our team in North Leeds. This role is vital in helping us achieve our mission of transforming spaces with precision and attention to detail. The successful candidate will contribute to our reputation for excellence in building and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and apply decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality work.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Use various tools and techniques to achieve desired aesthetic results.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for each project.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and client expectations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a decorator or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting, wallpapering, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Preferred experience with renovation projects.
