We are currently seeking an experienced Level 3 Qualified HGV Technician to join our professional and supportive team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career with extensive training and long-term progression opportunities, earning up to £52,000 per year.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Completing MOT preparation work
- Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Working both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working on HGVs
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence (Class 1 desirable – training provided if not held)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
