Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our sales, purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing and sales administration tasks, maintaining customer and supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Duties
- Assist with sales and purchasing administration, including processing orders and updating customer/supplier records and dealing with Customer/Supplier Enquiries
- Prepare and manage sales/purchasing documentation using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Maintain accurate records of customer and supplier interactions and sales activities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client and Supplier enquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Organise and prioritise daily tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
- Assist in analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software
- Experience with Intact Software is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven administrative experience or similar role
- Good computer literacy and IT skills, including familiarity with various business applications
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised approach to workload management with attention to detail
- Experience in Nuclear sector is Essential
- Experience and knowledge in Personal Protective Equipment is essential
