About the role
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will have:

Experience working in a busy office or administrative environment
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with systems and data
- Experience managing high volumes of work, including emails and service requests
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and respond to urgent issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and targets
Knowledge and understanding of:

Housing or estates services (desirable)
- Building maintenance and repairs processes
- Health and safety requirements in a service environment
Key responsibilities

Provide high-quality administrative and business support to the Estates Service Management Team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date systems to support day-to-day service delivery
- Monitor workflow performance and produce reports to support decision-making
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, logging and issuing work requests
- Support the development and implementation of improved administrative and ICT systems
- Ensure compliance with council procedures, contracts and standing orders
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors
- Promote safe working practices and comply with health and safety legislation

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
We are a workplace that supports flexibility and employee wellbeing in the way we work whilst providing the best service for our customers. Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
