FI Facilities Management are currently excited to be recruiting for a Day Cleaner to support their friendly team with daytime cover.
The right candidate will provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout Lynch Wood Park. The responsibilities will include cleaning of all landlord common areas and tenanted areas to ensure they are maintained to high standard of cleanliness and free from any potential slips, trips and falls risk.
Hours of work: 9:00am to 15:00pm Monday to Friday. No flexibility to change allocated hours.
Main Duties
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in the work area including corridors, offices, washrooms, kitchen area/canteen area.
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Attend to any spillage as soon as incident is reported, making the area as safe as possible.
- Empty bins and dispose of in the recycling area.
- Put out wet weather matting and wet floor signs in times of harsh weather.
- Floor scrubbing machine to be done once per month in the kitchen canteen area.
- Co-operate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks
- Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required whilst undertaking duties around the building
- Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the cleaning supervisor.
Cleaner requirements
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Good knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Integrity and good interpersonal skills
- Good numeracy and literacy
- High level of attention-to-detail
- Good organisational abilities
- Enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
- Positive and approachable manner
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover the needs of the business as and when required i.e. sickness and holiday’s
