Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and possess a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly to customers, ensuring correct orders are delivered promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Take orders from customers, answer queries about menu items, and provide recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Restock bar supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly throughout shifts.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and uphold responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer service excellence.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
- A friendly personality with a professional attitude towards guest interactions.
