Oxfordshire’s premier stone fabricator, The Granite House in Bicester, supplies and installs bespoke stone surfaces for commercial and domestic customers throughout the home counties and beyond.
In line with our continuing growth, we are looking to add to our experienced team by bringing on a Trainee Stoneworker/Fitter.
After basic training, you will learn how to use machines and hand tools to cut, shape, polish and finish stone to the highest quality. You will also work with the installation team, learning how to install kitchen worktops and other surfaces in customers homes and commercial premises.

Because of the nature of the job and the tools you will need to use you must be 20 years or over.
Desired skills:
· Previous experience of working in an industrial or workshop environment would be helpful, but not essential.
· Ability/understanding use of hand tools (training can be provided).
· Ability to use power tools (training can be provided).
· A full clean driving licence.
· Forklift license is helpful but not essential.
