Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth daily operations on-site. Your energy, attention to safety, and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction tasks. Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up work areas
- Support tradespeople with tasks such as roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, plastering, carpentry, and fabrication
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Help with the installation of scaffolding, fencing, and other site infrastructure
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to assist with construction activities
- Support site safety measures by adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with a variety of construction skills such as roofing, masonry, carpentry, plastering, welding, or electrical work is advantageous
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of schematics or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills across different trades within the construction industry

Pay: £12.71-£14.24 per hour
