Job Summary
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and commercially aware Business Coordinator to join the central Business Team at Manager of Brands, working across our portfolio of multiple award-winning venues in Newcastle.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining marketing coordination, CRM, social media, customer communications, events, partnerships and general business support.
You’ll work collaboratively with our wider Business Team and venue teams to keep activity organised, accurate and moving forward. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to develop their experience across marketing and the wider commercial side of a hospitality business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage our CRM and customer databases, including segmentation, data accuracy and email campaigns.
- Build, test, schedule and send newsletters and customer communications.
- Coordinate social media scheduling and publishing, including monitoring comments, messages and customer enquiries.
- Manage day-to-day online reviews and reputation, responding in the appropriate brand tone of voice.
- Coordinate LinkedIn activity including company news, people, partnerships, recruitment, awards and events.
- Keep Google, maps, review sites and other digital listings accurate and up to date.
- Maintain campaign calendars, timelines and trackers, supporting the rollout of promotions, launches and other activity.
- Coordinate advertising bookings, specifications, artwork deadlines and other marketing administration.
- Support networking, partnerships and business development, including research, contact lists and follow-up.
- Help coordinate private dining, catering, corporate bookings, events and local business opportunities.
- Support event logistics and liaise with venue teams to gather information and keep activity coordinated.
- Provide reasonable support across the wider Business Team when needed, including occasional telephone and customer enquiries when working from one of our venues.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in marketing, business coordination, administration, hospitality, customer service or a similar role.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Experience with CRM or email marketing platforms would be an advantage.
- Confident using digital systems and learning new platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to getting things done.
- An interest in hospitality, marketing and Newcastle’s business community would be a real advantage.
The Kind of Person We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a specialist in every area from day one. We’re looking for someone organised, curious and willing to learn, who enjoys working collaboratively and can take ownership of their responsibilities.
You’ll be joining a small Business Team where everyone has their own areas of responsibility, but we work together, share ideas and support each other when needed.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
