Full-time support workers required for day and night positions at Maldon Rd site- CO2 0NU and Marks Tey site- Station Rd CO6 1EE
Driver and own car preferred.
Team leader or supervisory experience in care and minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in health and social care required.
Working on a residential site with adults between the ages of 18- 70 with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours, mental health and autism and accompanying clients in the community.
Person-centred values, patience, compassion and excellent communication and leadership skills essential.
Rates of pay £12.82 ph + enhanced rates depending on shift and client needs, over-time available.
Duties:
Meal preparation, trips out, personal care, administering medication, client laundry, client paperwork, attending appointments, following emergency procedures, handling client monies and budgets
Adhering to all SALT guidelines, medication and care plans, safe-guarding, CQC and internal policies
Liasing with medical staff, social services, professional visitors, client families
