Locations: Horncastle & Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break, plus two 15-minute breaks) Hours as required if out collecting refrigeration around the UK.
Contract: Full-time immediate start required.
About the role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Operatives/ Cover Drivers . The role involves the manual dismantling of commercial refrigeration equipment collected from across the UK, along with general warehouse duties.
In addition to these we will also need you to cover often at short notice for our collection drivers either for sickness or holidays. This would involve collecting commercial and domestic refrigeration from around the UK and into london.
You will work across both our Horncastle and Woodhall Spa sites and must have your own transport, as there are no public transport links to the Woodhall Spa site.
This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
Manually dismantling refrigeration and related equipment using hand tools and power tools
Safely handling, moving, loading and unloading heavy and bulky items
Assisting with general warehouse duties including packing, sorting, and waste disposal
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised at all times
Ensuring materials are stored, labelled, and processed correctly
Following all health and safety procedures, company standards, and instructions
Working efficiently to meet daily operational targets
Contributing positively to team performance and workflow

This role involves regular heavy lifting and manual work. Applicants must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and maintaining a consistent level of productivity.
We are ideally looking for a Driver with a Forklift Licence who can in addition to working dismantling equipment in the warehouse also fill in for the luton van drivers when they are ill, on holiday or when required for collections of Refrigeration around the UK including London.
