Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the pub. Your energetic approach will ensure that all areas are spotless, organized, and meet high standards of cleanliness. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. We are looking for someone to do 6 hours a week, 2 hours a day in the morning over 3 days in the week and more hours to cover holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the pub & restrooms
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned and sanitized regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to maintain hygiene standards
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain cleaning logs and record completed tasks for accountability
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and lifting supplies
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work
Pay: £12.71 per hour
