Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as required
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding hygiene and confidentiality
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Experience in janitorial work or general cleaning is desirable
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
