Bank Care Assistant – Day and Twilight Shifts

Threeways Nursing Home is looking for caring, reliable and committed Care Assistants to join our established team on a bank basis.
We are a privately owned nursing home with a stable and experienced staff team. Many of our employees have worked with us for more than 10 years, with some having been part of the home for over 20 years.
Available shift times are:
- 7.30 am to 1.30 pm
- 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm
- 7.30 am to 7.30 pm
- Twilight shifts from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm
These shifts are available across all seven days of the week. As this is a bank position, there are no guaranteed or fixed weekly hours. Staff can indicate their availability and will be offered shifts according to the needs of the home.
The role involves supporting residents with their personal care, mobility, meals, hydration and day-to-day wellbeing while promoting their dignity, independence and individual choices. Care Assistants are also expected to maintain accurate records and work closely with nurses and other members of the care team.

- Can communicate effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues
- Are willing to work flexibly, including some weekends
Previous care experience would be beneficial, although attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important.
This is initially a bank role, but there may be opportunities to move into a permanent contracted position for the right person.
