Domiciliary Care Worker / Support Worker – Runcorn

Regent Care Recruitment is recruiting reliable and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers / Support Workers to support a new community care service in Runcorn and surrounding areas.
This is a home-to-home care role supporting a range of male and female service users with individual care and support needs. You will travel between service users' homes and provide support in line with their individual care plans.
The Role
Your duties may include:
- Providing person-centred care and support within service users' own homes
- Supporting with daily living activities
- Personal care where required
- Promoting independence, dignity and choice
- Following individual care plans
- Recording care visits accurately using the Birdie app
- Reporting any concerns or changes in a service user's needs
- Travelling between service users as part of an allocated care run
- Maintaining professional standards and continuity of care
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence – you must be able to drive
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Able to travel between service users' homes across Runcorn and surrounding areas
- Previous care/support experience is desirable
- Reliable and committed to completing allocated care runs
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable using a mobile app to access care plans and record visits
- Able to work respectfully with both male and female service users
- Flexible availability is highly desirable
