Front Desk Receptionist | Social Media & Events
Salary: £28,000–£31,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Are you a people person who loves creating a welcoming environment? We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Front of House Receptionist to become the face of our prestigious shared office building.
This is much more than a traditional reception role. You'll be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, helping to create a professional, vibrant and welcoming workplace while supporting events, hospitality and occasional social media activity.
About the Role
As our Front of House Receptionist, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience every day. From greeting visitors with a smile to coordinating meeting rooms and supporting building events, no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome tenants, visitors and guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Handle incoming calls, emails and enquiries efficiently.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings.
- Assist with organising tenant events and hospitality.
- Prepare refreshments, including tea and coffee, for meetings and visitors.
- Resolve enquiries and issues professionally, escalating where appropriate.
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks.
- Assist with social media content and engagement when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and inviting reception area.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:

- A confident communicator, both in person and over the phone.
- Professional with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Creative and happy to contribute ideas, including for social media.
- Flexible and willing to support occasional evening events (typically once or twice a month).
- Keen to learn, develop and grow within the business.
Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality, concierge or customer service.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and managing bookings or calendars.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a serviced office, commercial property or hotel environment.
- Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram or LinkedIn.
- Event coordination experience.
