Background and purpose of the role:
The role of Plant Administrator is newly created to support Blackwell Earthmoving's HS2 project team to perform a variety of administrative tasks including providing support to our managers and wider team, assisting in daily office needs managing our projects general administrative activities.
In so doing, the postholder will be influential in achieving the Company’s mission statement in accordance with the Company’s values which are:

Accountability:
· Write and distribute email and correspondence memos where required
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
· Develop and maintain a filing system on SharePoint and other systems
· Book travel arrangements
· Document creation
· Greet visitors and provide general support
· Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients where required
· Handle requests and queries from senior managers
· Data entry where required
· Filing important documentation away correctly
Providing support to other members of the team when required
Key competencies:
· Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or working in an office environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
· Attention to detail and problem solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
