We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Cook to join our production kitchen team at Castleton Farm Shop. This role is at the heart of our food production operation, where you will play a vital role in preparing our range of delicious ready meals sold in our award-winning farm shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality ready meals in line with Castleton’s standards.
- Follow set recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in line with food hygiene standards.
- Work as part of a small team to meet daily production targets.
- Label and store food appropriately for sale and storage.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a kitchen or food production setting is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- A passion for good food and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota. Preferred availability is 8am to 4pm, but we are happy to discuss options for the right person.
