Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, fun and highly motivated individual who has a good eye for detail and who could coordinate our busy outside catering season as well as overseeing our brand marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the high expectations of our lovely clients and their guests. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to developing further opportunities.
We also want to reignite our successful supper club evenings at our different venues and look to expand our event offerings.
In terms of marketing - you will be responsible for delivering and extending our marketing strategy to maximise and increase engagement. Preferably, we would love the successful candidate to share our core brand values and have a passion for local food and provenance, connection & togetherness (community, food and farming) and sustainablity.
Reponsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide them with an accurate quotation and invoice.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate logistics (including organising and overseeing the catering team & venue requirements - you will also need to be resourceful as on occasions we cater in unique remote locations).
- Communicate effectively throughout the process and manage the event to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event management.

Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide teams effectively.
- Familiarity with online tools relevant to event planning and management.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative and innovative to develop an exciting schedule of events.
- Experience in marketing strategies that can enhance event visibility and attendance - including being proficient in a variety of media channels including engaging social media.
