Our client is looking for a Press Brake Operator to work at their manufacturing site based in Portadown.
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1.30pm.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Conducting quality checks and final inspections
- Adjust machine settings
- Complete relevant production records
- Identifying faults with machinery
- Working to a high standard
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating Durma press brake machine within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Experience using measuring equipment to inspect finished parts
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to work under instruction from supervisor
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
