Recruitment Consultant (Maternity Cover)

Mploy Staffing Solutions is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our well-established Yeovil branch on a maternity cover contract.
Although this role is initially offered as maternity cover, Mploy is a growing independent recruitment agency, and for the right person there may be an opportunity to continue with the business in a permanent capacity as we expand.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will play a key part in supporting our busy branch by managing client accounts, building relationships with new and existing customers, sourcing candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies, interviewing and registering candidates, advertising roles, and ensuring an excellent recruitment service is delivered to both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing existing client accounts.
- Building new business through regular sales and business development activities.
- Sourcing, interviewing and registering candidates.
- Matching candidates to temporary and permanent vacancies.
- Writing and posting engaging job adverts.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and candidates.
- Visiting client sites when required.
- Providing excellent customer service both over the phone and face-to-face.
About You
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Positive, proactive and motivated attitude.
- Driving licence and own transport are essential, as client visits are part of the role.
