About the Role
Zhay Digital Operations and Business Services UK Ltd is looking for an analytical, organised and commercially aware Reporting and Insights Analyst to support operational decision-making through accurate reporting, performance analysis and actionable business insights.
The successful candidate will collect, validate and interpret data from multiple business systems, build dashboards and recurring reports, identify performance trends and communicate findings to operational managers and project stakeholders.
This role is suitable for an analyst with practical experience in reporting, business intelligence, operational data or performance analysis who is ready to take greater ownership of reporting frameworks and insight-generation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce regular operational and management reports
- Collect data from business systems, spreadsheets and external sources
- Validate data for completeness, consistency and accuracy
- Investigate missing, duplicated or conflicting information
- Build dashboards for operational and management teams
- Maintain recurring weekly and monthly reporting packs
- Define and track key performance indicators
- Monitor service, productivity and quality metrics
- Analyse trends across customers, teams and operational processes
- Identify performance gaps and emerging risks
- Highlight unusual patterns and data anomalies
- Prepare clear summaries of analytical findings
- Translate complex data into practical business insights
- Present findings to managers and operational stakeholders
- Support business reviews and performance meetings
- Develop scorecards for teams, services and projects
- Analyse customer-service and operational performance
- Support capacity, workload and productivity analysis
- Assist with forecasting and planning activities
- Compare actual performance against targets
- Track improvement actions and expected outcomes
- Support root-cause analysis of recurring performance issues
- Work with business teams to understand reporting requirements
- Translate stakeholder needs into reporting specifications
- Maintain consistent definitions for KPIs and measures
- Document reporting logic and data sources
- Support the development of standard reporting templates
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks where practical
- Develop data visualisations that are clear and easy to interpret
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards
- Support data extraction and transformation processes
- Work with technology teams to resolve reporting issues
- Assist with testing changes to reporting systems
- Support system implementation and data-migration projects
- Review historical data for trends and comparison
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for business projects
- Support customer and client reporting requirements
- Monitor report delivery deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain organised analytical records and documentation
- Ensure confidential data is handled appropriately
- Apply relevant data-protection and information-security procedures
- Participate in operational and project meetings
- Recommend improvements to reporting and analytical processes
- Manage multiple reporting requests and priorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement across business operations
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or professional qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance or a related subject
- At least two years of experience in reporting, data analysis or business intelligence
- Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience producing dashboards and management reports
- Ability to clean, organise and validate datasets
- Good understanding of KPI and performance reporting
- Experience analysing operational or customer-service data
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to identify trends and explain their business impact
- Experience gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present analytical findings clearly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills

Pay: £27,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
