About the Role
Proteus Complete Services Ltd are looking for an experienced and reliable Air Conditioning & Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of air conditioning and associated electrical systems across a range of commercial and domestic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and air conditioning faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Complete electrical testing and associated remedial works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Complete service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation.
- Liaise professionally with customers and site contacts.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure compliance with current health and safety requirements and industry standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in air conditioning and electrical engineering.
- Confident with fault-finding and problem-solving.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload.
- Reliable, professional and well organised.
- Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites.
- Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally, you will have:
- Relevant experience in air conditioning/HVAC and electrical engineering.
- Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition and/or NVQ Level 3.
- F-Gas certification.
- Experience working with split, multi-split and/or VRF/VRV systems.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Relevant health and safety qualifications are advantageous.
