The International Logistics Team sits in our Business Operations division. Following an international expansion, the team is rapidly growing to accommodate the growth of our global business. They are responsible for all movement of goods to facilitate our international customer's needs, including all Softcat exports from the UK.

As an International Logistics Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinate international shipments, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in line with shipping requirements.
- Support customs and compliance processes by gathering documentation and working with carriers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Monitor orders through to delivery and help resolve shipping or logistics-related issues.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams, providing updates on shipments and order status.
- Work with sales, procurement, finance, and logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking information, and customer documentation.
- Support the wider ILAC team with day-to-day operational activities and customer requests.
What we need from you
We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, proactive, and ready to grow within a fast-paced international environment. This is a junior position, so full training will be provided — but a strong interest in logistics, global trade, or operations will help you thrive.
You'll also bring:
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
- Confidence communicating with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.) — experience with logistics or order management systems is a bonus
- Some prior experience in administration, customer service, or operations would be helpful but isn't essential
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete and maintain certification in a Battery Declaration / Dangerous Goods Awareness course as required for the role.
