Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic School Photographer to join our creative team. This role involves capturing high-quality images of students in a school environment, ensuring a positive experience for pupils and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong photography skills and an eye for detail.
Duties
- Photograph students during school portrait sessions, ensuring clear, well-composed images that meet quality standards
- Manage the entire photography process from setting up equipment to capturing images efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Collaborate with school staff to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operation of photo sessions
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicle to ensure it is in good working order – report any maintenance needs immediately
- On-site marketing and promoting new products and services
- Working in other departments when needed to maintain a healthy timebank and support the business during heavy workloads
Experience
- Proven experience in professional photography, preferably within an educational or event setting
- Have a flexible and adaptable attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Willingness to learn
- Be happy to travel and have a full UK driving license
- Be flexible with working times, as early start can be required
