Light Vehicle Technician – Contract

Pay Rate: £32.00 – £36.00 per hour DOE
Hours: 46.25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician to join a busy operation in Aberdeenshire on a contract basis.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and an excellent contract rate of £32 – £36 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing light vehicles
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Identifying and reporting any additional repair requirements
- Completing relevant job cards and maintenance documentation
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with workshop procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
- Relevant automotive qualifications, ideally Level 3 or equivalent
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Own tools preferred
