We are currently recruiting a Part Time Support Worker (Maternity Cover) to join our Day Opportunities team. This rewarding role involves supporting people on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to access meaningful activities, develop new skills and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll enable individuals to shape their own lives through learning new skills, training, volunteering and participating in activities that support their health and wellbeing (e.g. swimming, walking, music)
You’ll work across several sites, supporting people with a wide range of needs. You will empower people to express their rights, choices and aspirations while maintaining the highest standards of support in line with our policies and procedures.
This role involves a combination of lone working and working as part of a supportive team. You will be responsible for following individual support plans, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the ongoing review and development of the support provided to each person. Personal care may also be required, depending on the individual needs of the people you support.
Key Details:
- Day shifts only – no evenings or weekends
- Covering a variety of sites in Cwm y Glo, Deiniolen, and Llanberis
- Supporting people to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement
What We’re Looking For
You don't need previous experience in social care, we'll provide a full induction and all the training you need to succeed in the role.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and inclusion.
- Creativity and enthusiasm in planning and delivering meaningful activities that reflect each person's interests, goals and aspirations.
- A caring, patient, positive and flexible approach to supporting others.
- The ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with the people we support, their families and carers, colleagues and external professionals.
- The ability to communicate in both English and Welsh, or a willingness to learn Welsh.
- A full, valid UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- The right to work in the UK.
