Overview
Scope Healthcare is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing bank team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in their own homes and within the community, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
We support adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, dementia, mental health needs, and physical disabilities, delivering tailored care that enables people to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care (where required), meal preparation, household tasks, and community access.
- Encourage independence while promoting choice, dignity, and respect.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve service users' wellbeing.
- Observe and report any changes in a person's health, behaviour, or wellbeing to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment in line with health and safety procedures.
- Drive service users to appointments, activities, and community outings where required.
- Complete accurate care records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
- A caring, compassionate, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Previous experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are currently recruiting Support Workers across West Yorkshire, including Bradford, Halifax, Keighley, Bingley, Ilkley, and the surrounding areas.
Please note: This is a banked role, with shifts offered on an as-and-when-required basis. Hours are not guaranteed and will be allocated according to service needs and your availability.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.73 per hour
