Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic EYT or QTS to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and childcare within our nursery setting. You will lead, manage, and nurture children, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness while fostering a positive learning environment. Your leadership skills will help create an engaging atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Duties
- Plan and deliver stimulating activities that promote early childhood development in accordance with nursery standards
- Supervise children’s daily routines, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Lead and manage a team of nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality childcare delivery
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and achievements
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and health information
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies, health & safety regulations, and early years frameworks
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among children
Skills
- Proven management and leadership experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with children, parents, and team members
- Extensive experience working with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to organize activities that support developmental milestones
- Valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or EYT (Early Years Teacher) certification preferred

Pay: £30,576.00-£32,656.00 per year
