Metro Rod Northampton, a well-known quality regional drain care and repair business and part of the national network of Metro Rod operations, are seeking an office administrator to join their team in the Northampton area.

Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including answering phone calls and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
- Provide clerical support, including preparing reports, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist with the management of office supplies and inventory, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Reasonable knowledge of Excel and Word
- Provide quick-turn quotations for customers via an in-house quote system ensuring internal targets are met
- Communicating feedback to customers on a daily basis
- Working with our marketing team to improve customer care and relationships
- Constant updating of a bespoke works system in a timely manner to ensure high productivity is consistently achieved
- Managing and maintaining engineers job budgets in line with client authorisations
- Process job cards, invoices and card payments for customers
- Liaising with clients, colleagues, staff in other departments and with external contacts
- Ability to manage and prioritise work loads
You will possess a high level of IT skills and display confidence and professionalism in dealing with customer enquiries over the phone whilst being proactive with whom you are speaking to ensuring you go above and beyond to help them
