The Role
We're looking for a reliable, proactive Accounts Assistant to join us on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the business, and it suits someone who's comfortable working independently and getting on with things without being chased.
You'll be working across sales and purchase ledgers, reconciliations, invoicing, and general bookkeeping tasks. It's a varied role in a fast-moving business, so the ability to prioritise and use your initiative matters.
What You'll Be Doing
- Processing invoices and payments
- Reconciling accounts and bank statements
- Supporting month-end procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaising with suppliers and internal team members as needed
- General bookkeeping and admin support as the business requires
What We're Looking For
- AAT Level 2 qualified or working towards it
- Experience using Xero is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage your own workload
- Someone who uses their initiative and doesn't wait to be told twice
- Comfortable in a busy, practical working environment
